Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge #452

Penny’s Paper-Crafty Challenge #452

This sneaky snowman is called For Santa by The Paper Shelter, who is our sponsor this week at Penny’s. He’s so cute!!

I actually had such trouble with this card. I chose a blue paper with white snowflakes to be my background, then I inked the edges of my image in purple, and all of a sudden NOTHING worked with it!! After hours of futile searching, my crafty mentor mama suggested that I ink the edges of my image in brown over the purple, and I found a different background paper. I went back to the card the next day and it flowed from there.

Materials Used:

  • Echo Park Paper Co. I Love Winter
  • Tim Holt Distress Ink gathered twigs
  • For Santa by The Paper Shelter
  • Copics
  • Little Birdie Holiday Elements wreath and tree
  • Prima Christmas crystals
  • Value Craft Christmas lights
  • Tim Holtz idea-ology Christmas sentiment
  • Papermania Mr. Smith’s Workshop vintage brads

If you would like to participate in our challenge this week for a chance to win some great prizes from The Paper Shelter, head on over to Penny’s and we’d love to see your crafty creations!
